Can't make purchases online with your Korean check card?

If you can't make a purchase online with your check card, you might have the same problem I did.

If your purchase requires your ARN, Alien Registration Number, your purchase might be denied if you did not use or have your own ARN at the time you opened your bank account.

Keep Track of Your Korean Purchases with Text Messaging

If you have a Check Card, which is similar to an ATM/debit card, there is a nifty service offered by some banks. Nonghyup bank is one that offers a text messaging service that confirms your purchases. It can be used as a safety precaution and it is really quick. You are usually informed within seconds of your purchase through a text message to your phone.
