Requirements:
Basic Requirements for the EPIK Program are:
- Be a citizen of one of the 6 designated English speaking countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States of America
- Have lived in one of the 6 designated English speaking countries for at least 10 years
- Have studied in one of the six designated English speaking countries from the junior high school level (7th grade)
- Hold at least a Bachelor's degree
- Be mentally and physically healthy
- Possess a good command of the English language
- Have desire and ability to adapt to living in Korea
ELI Level 2
2.0 - 2.2 million won
Requirements:
- Basic Requirements
- One of the following additional requirements:
- MA Degree
- Teacher's Certificate for Elementary or Secondary School
- TESOL/TEFL/CELTA Certificate (100+ course hours)
- BA Degree with one year full-time English teaching experience
ELI Level 1
2.3 - 2.5 million won
Requirements:
- Basic Requirements
- 2 years of full-time teaching experience
- One of the following additional requirements:
- MA Degree
- Teacher's Certificate for Elementary or Secondary School
- TESOL/TEFL/CELTA Certificate (100+ course hours)
ELI Level 1+
2.3 - 2.5 million won
Requirements:
- 2 consecutive years as a Level 1 EPIK ELI within the same Provincial Office of Education (POE)
