The grounds of the Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), most of which are water, cover an impressive 2.9 spare kilometers. The buildings are 70,000 square meters and contain different kinds of palaces, gardens, and other classical Chinese architectural styles. It is purportedly the biggest ancient royal garden in the world.
