The World's Tallest Outdoor Seated Bronze Buddha!Submitted by I on 7 January 2007 - 7:35pm.Tags: The 34-meters (85-feet) tall Tian Tan Buddha is located near Po Lin Monastery on the largest island of Hong Kong, Lantau. It is one of the five big Buddha statues of China and weighs 250 tons. Visitors must climb 268 steps to reach the Buddha and it can be seen from Macau on clear days.
