The Petronas Towers take over the skyline of Kuala Lumpur and hold several tall building world records. When they were finished in 1998, they were the tallest buildings in the world. Though there are now taller buildings, the Petronas Towers were the tallest buildings of the 20th century. At 452 meters (1483 ft), they currently hold the record for tallest twin towers in the world.
