Gyeongbokgung

The interior architecture of the Gyeongbokgung, the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty.  It was originally constructed in 1394, but burned down during the Japanese invasion in the late sixteenth century.  It wasn't reconstructed again until the 1860's, only to be nearly entirely destroyed again by the Japanese in 1911.  Only ten buildings on the site survived.
