This picture was taken in the vicinity of the Gyeongbokgung (경복궁 / 景福宮), the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty is located in the Northern part of Seoul. The monument shown, the Gyeonghoeru Pavilion (경회루 / 慶會樓), can be found on the reverse side of the 10,000 won bank note, which has recently been replaced with a new design.
