This forum is for discussing English. You can post a question and get a response, or simply bring up a topic for discussion. We all get stumpers sometimes and this a good place to hear what others have to say. Just refrain from spelling out curse words completely and be sure to use symbols to keep it clean.

Intro to the English Forum
Hello everyone, my name is Bill and I shall be posting some English language questions that I have received from English language learners. I shall post answers to those questions which you may build upon or simply add comments. I am not the expert; I continue to be an English language learner myself. Recently, copyeditors (from a publishing company in America) put me to shame. My proofreading skills are not up to par. However, when an error glares at me, I usually pick up on it. You and I do not require the Chicago Manual of Style or a spell-check program (perhaps I should say "we" for "I" does) to spot the errors in the "Intro to the English Forum." Mr. "I" should have written "We all get stumpers sometimes and this is a good idea to hear what others have to say." I am most certain that Mr "I" meant to spell "refrain" this way, instead of this way: "refrarin." Let us forgive him, but let us gently reprove him to "just hold back" from spelling out words wrong.
Mr. "I's" Corrected Errors to the "Intro to the English Forum"
Mr. "I" is not only diligent, but also has a perspicuous style that is agreeable. He is now exculpated by "Ambiguous Bill."
