The Melbourne Institute of Language Studies (MILS) is a new concept of language education in South East Asia. We teach our students English as a Foreign Language in a similar learning environment as students studying English as their native language. As such, we use predominantly native English speakers as teachers.
MILS contributes to the local community by offering outreach programs to students of low socio-economic opportunity. We also offer our teachers the opportunity to plan their own outreach projects, and provide resources for volunteer trips to distant villages.
