The Place
Situated on the east coast of China, not far from Shanghai,
EF English First Wenzhou is part of the worlds largest language training group.
English First has over 90 schools in China and has been teaching English
all over the world for more than 40 years.
Our 2 modern, well-equipped schools are situated in the affluent,
coastal city of Wenzhou
and near-by Rui'an. Immerse yourself in Chinese culture in this friendly,
vibrant city. Learn to speak Mandarin Chinese, play Chinese chess, or train in
Kung Fu or Tai Chi. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved in
outdoor activities such as hiking, bike rides and various sports as well as the
facilities you would expect from a good sized city including shops,
restaurants, parks and nightclubs.
Our school in Wenzhou
has been in business for 6 years and had a big refurbishment last month. In
line with EFs latest design specifications, our school boasts up to date
facilities and a fresh, modern design, a new teacher's room and flat screen
computers in the classrooms. We have excellent teaching resources and friendly,
supportive management. On-going training is provided and the students at our
school are all very keen to learn English which makes for a really rewarding
teaching experience.
Qualifications:
The job
We are looking for creative, motivated English teachers who
have an adventurous spirit and a positive attitude to fill the available
one-year contracts.
Training
On-going training is seen as essential for the development of
all our teachers. We have weekly training sessions tailored to needs of both
new and experienced teachers. Teachers are also encouraged to share ideas and
make use of our extensive teaching library and training videos.
Requirements
Applicants will need to have a degree and/or a credible TEFL
certificate. Ideally, we are looking for teachers from the United States, United
Kingdom, Australia,
Canada, New Zealand and South Africa and other near-native
English speakers. Previous teaching experience is an advantage, however plenty
of training and support is given to new teachers.
Compensation:
Compensation
--5500 RMB (1st 3 months) to 6000 RMB (thereafter) per month
salary for new teachers. Negotiable salary for teachers with experience.

--Round-trip airfares from and to country of origin worth 9000
RMB
--Visa and local residential permits arranged and paid for by
the school
--Paid vacation: 10 working days plus all Chinese public
holidays (usually 2 weeks per year)
