Heart School helps to link teachers with positions in Japanese Public Schools in the prefectures surronding Tokyo - Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki, Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa (basically the areas in a circle around Tokyo city).
Qualifications needed are -
* Be a native English speaker (a citizen of the UK, US, NZ, Australia or Canada).
* Have a Degree (BA/BS) in any subject.
note: a TEFL qulification is not required...
The schools are in varied locations, from Tokyo city to very rural locations.
We have vacancies starting during June and July, and also in September after the summer holidays. You need to be able to commit until March 09 at least.
Japanese language ability is not essential.
Heart School provides visa sponsorship (Working Visa) and accommodation.
The salary is 230,000 Yen/month (£1070), 35 hours a week (M-F, 7hrs/day).
Only around 200 days per year, with a paid August vacation.
A company car may be used.
