Textbooks in public school in South Korea must be one of the following:
- textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education
- textbooks authorized by the Minister of Education
- textbooks authorized by a superintendent of a city/province
Because of this many foreign teachers in Korea find themselves using the same textbooks througout the country. This is a place where TEFL teachers in Korea can share their ideas, lesson plans, and activities with each other.
