Location
Information:
This position is
located in the heart of Jeju City's downtown core. It offers a bustling nightlife and all the
amenitites that the island offers within walking distance. The school itself is well known for being
mindful of a foreign teacher's needs. The
teachers use an IBT TOEFL teaching strategy.
Job Details:
The school utilizes a
3/5 Korean to Foreigner teaching staff, ensuring that a positive mix of
teaching styles. The students vary from
elementary to middle school and the classes are kept small at 10 per class. Teaching hours will not exceed 30 hours per
week.
Work Term:
One year contract
beginning April or May. The sooner the
better.
Compensation
and Benefits:
The salary is 2.3
Million Won/month
In addition, the
successful applicants will receive:
Furnished
apartment rent free for the duration of the contract
Roundtrip airfare
Medical Insurance
and Pension contributions
All National and
School Holidays paid vacation plus additional vacation
Completion Bonus
equivalent to one month's salary
Qualifications:
Successful
applicants MUST have native level English proficiency (born in an
English speaking country like Canada, USA, England, Ireland, South Africa, New
Zealand, or Australia) and have a 4-year University degree. This position requires a Kyopo (Korean
heritage and fluency but born abroad) F4 visa holder.
