The first round of hiring for the new school year in Korea is over and just as the job market started to settle down, the second round of hiring for spring positions has come. Take advantage of the current Spring job explosion to find the position you really want.
This is the season where even first time teachers can get 2.2 -2.5 million. That's right, we have multiple positions with salaries of 2.5 million won per month for first time teachers with the right attitude.
May, June, and July jobs we are recruiting for now have salaries of 2.2 - 2.7 million won in the following locations:
Jeju City: 4 positions at 2.2 - 2.4 million (ASAP, May → F-4, July)
Seoul: 5 positions at 2.2 - 2.4 million (May, June, July)
Daegu: 2 positions at 2.3 - 2.5 million, single teachers or couple (ASAP)
Anyang City: 1 position at 2.3+ million, just outside of Seoul, connected to Seoul Subway (ASAP)
Suwon City: 2 positions at 2.2 - 2.4 million, just outside of Seoul, connected to Seoul Subway (June 3)
Busan: 1 position at 2.2 - 2.4 million, central location (May 7)
Jeonju City: 1 position at 2.3 million (June 1)
EPIK: 3 positions at 2.5+ million (by June 1)
Couple Positions:
Daegu: 2.3 - 2.5 million (May 1)
Siheung City: 2.3 - 2.4 million, coastal city last stop on Seoul Subway line (June 1)

EPIK PROGRAM

These EPIK positions are in public schools, and start at 2.5 million won. What if you have never taught before? You will still make 2.5 million, more if you have certification and teaching experience. Schools in this town are small, so most teachers have under 15 classes per week.
Want to make more money during regular school hours? Make an extra 400,000 - 800,000 won per month in the optional after school program. These positions are great for those who want to save money.
Make a great salary as you experience the beautiful Korean countryside. Enjoy the city life on weekends in Daegu's (pop. 2.5 million), which is only an hour away by bus.
Benefits for renewing a contract include free round-trip airfare home, two weeks extra vacation, and the option of rollover vacation days for those who don't use
them all the previous year.
