in most cases, Korean - so you won't be lost in translation!
Please send us your:
1. resume
2. photo

a) start date
b) location
c) age of students

are so inclined.....
THINK ABOUT IT....
There are 4 basic
requirements you should have with any job in Korea.
1) A decent boss who
treats you like a professional …..ADULT.
2) A market value salary
that reflects your experience and qualifications.
3) All financial
benefits paid on time and in full.
4) A decent place to
live.
Do a search on any job
forum around. Check to see if teachers in Korea prefer public schools
over private ones.
At public schools you
work for the Ministry of Education.
1) Your government
salary is regulated.
2) Your government
working conditions are regulated.
3) Your government
contract is regulated.
4) Your government boss
is regulated by the same Ministry YOU work for.

LESS HOURS
The average private
school teacher works 28 hours a week.
The average PUBLIC
school teacher works 20 hours a week.
MORE MONEY
You make more money for
the hours you teach!
The average private
school teacher makes approx. 2.2MIL/month.
The average public
school teacher makes approx. 2.2MIL/month. But with more paid
vacation time.
LESS RISK
Private schools go broke
and close all the time. Contracts are dodgy.
How many public schools
close for financial reasons? ZERO!
SKETCHY RECRUITERS
All Public Schools have
regulated benefits. If you want a recruiter who will give you a whole
bunch of BS about offering you more salary, more vacation, better
housing or guaranteed districts within cities or provinces,
please…use another recruiter. Try one of the Korean ones...they are
good at doing that!

At ESL PLANET we have
PUBLIC school positions for Sept 2009. We are one of the REGISTERED
recruiting firms legally able to provide teachers to the Ministries
of Education.
All positions are
regulated. We can not offer you any more salary, nor guarantee your
FIRST choice of location or student age range.
You get 3 preferences
for each. The rest is up to you in the interview and in your resume.

Honestly, if you want a
public school position in Korea, why would you NOT
use a foreign owned and
operated company based in Korea?
Why would you NOT want
to speak to foreign recruiters whom have worked in
the public school
system?
Why would you NOT want
to use a recruiter who knows the application and
visa process thoroughly?
NB: ESL PLANET is a
public school recruiter. We have very few private school positions on
offer. If you would like to know why we don't want private schools,
ask us.
