Teacher from USA, CA, UK, AUS, NZ , IRE ,SA If you have BA degree, and you are a licensed teacher .We are now having" English -Teaching " positions in Taiwan, you don't need to be a English major nor ESL certified teacher, just being a native English speaker who holding a teacher license from your country that makes you are qualified enough to teach English in Taiwan, China public school and private school. Young graduated or retire Certificated teachers are WELCOME Benefits:1. Salary：The school pays a maximum of NTD $ 70,895 per month tax-free2. Extra month bonus - performance incentive3.Over-time pay per every 40 minutes
4. Housing Allowance：5,000NTD /per month
5. Air fare Allowance：Up to $60,000 NTD 6. Health insurance and labor insurance provided.7. ARC (Alien Resident Certificate), Work permit provided.8. Extra 10 days paid holidays.
Qualifications:

The basic living expense is different in Asia. We provide competitive top wages compared to local average salary, and give our teacher a financially secured job to live in the local country. I would like to share more with you , I provided this information via my experience and previous mail to other candidates , more like frequent Q & A , it's about cost living in Taiwan , hopefully this is helpful to you , The living expense compare to US is much cheaper , for example
The Currency rate 1 USD = 33 NTD ( New Taiwanese Dollar )
Housing rent :
Around 5,000 NTD – 8,000 NTD depends on size ( You have 5000 NTD/ per month Housing Allowance from school )
Meal :
You can be a out-diner all the time , it still cost not much ( breakfast + Lunch + Dinner = around 50 NTD + 80 NTD + 120 NTD )for one person , it’s around 250NTD = 7.57 USD, hard to imagine , right !! Also there has no tip culture in Taiwan.
Transportation :
You can live near by school or You maybe need a scooter to take you everywhere ( Get a useful second hand scooter is easy here , around 8000 NTD - 15000 NTD depends on condition )
So let's say your monthly living expenses will be around 10000 NTD - 15000NTD for one person ( That's about 303 USD – 455USD )
You are getting middle-up level wages here ( 60,000 NTD - 70,000 NTD ) , and that will secure your financial status, meanwhile you can earn your oversea living and teaching experiences and save some money for sure , maybe learning Chinese during your free time too ( strongly recommend ) , to enhance your personal value and ability for life and career , the Chinese market is huge !!
