Did anyone come in with the normal E2 visa and is getting/has gotten it changed to a multi-entry visa? I really want to and need to, but I dont know exactly what we need to do! Also, that is a good tip for those coming into the program or renewing visas--make sure to think about getting a multi-entry from the get go!

Getting a multi-entry permit in Korea
I entered on the E-2 visa and only applied for a single-entry permit with my alien registration card, then changed to a multi-entry permit.
The process was very simple and only took about 15 minutes. I went to my local immigration office and brought my passport, alien registration card, and 50,000 won. It says you don't need a picture on the Korean Immigration Bureau but I may have brought one...can't remember.
Here is the link about getting a re-entry permit on the Korean Government's Immigration Bureau website

Here is the link for the one in Jeju that has the Immigration Bureau address/tel# for all of the provinces.

The process should look something like this when you go to the Immigration Bureau: they give you a form, you fill it out and hand them the money and your passport/foreign registration card, you wait for 10 or 15 minutes, and leave.
Hope this helps!
